| Welcome
to Castlereagh Public School |
Our small, friendly school is situated in an open,
rural setting surrounded by bushland and acreage properties.
Located between Penrith and Richmond, it is rich in local history
with the Castlereagh area being one of the original Macquarie
towns of the Hawkesbury region.
Castlereagh Public School takes great pride in providing a safe
and highly educational environment for each student to explore
their learning potential. The experienced and dedicated staff
strive to develop the skills and talents of each individual
and are strongly committed to the development and maintenance
of a high level of communication between the school and the
home.
Our senior students play a major role in the organisation and
operation of the school through leadership opportunities, conducting
sporting tabloids, supporting learning situations, technology
instruction of younger students and peer support programs. The
Student Representative Council (SRC) are elected from Years
K – 6 and are active in fund raising for selected charities
and promoting social events across the school.
The Castlereagh Parents & Citizens Association (P&C)
works tirelessly to support the teaching and learning programs
of the school. Through working bees, fund raising, family dances
and outings they have established a warm and positive link across
the entire school community. |
